Stitch Therapy

Discovering me … one stitch at a time

This and That

Hi Blog!

Here we are winding down another week already. This was a busy one, with a lot of commuting back and forth to NYC. The best part: I skipped my evening event last night and got home early. The worst part: The train was sooooo bumpy and sooooo crowded, I couldn’t cross stitch at all!

We started off the week with SNOW! Can you even believe that crazy business?

Tom surprised me with new rugs for the basement to replace the ones that got flooded last year. Charlie approves!

We got passport photos taken for the boys! Fun Summer trip booked!

I’ve had the worst insomnia lately. Some nights I roam the house looking for a place to lull me to sleep. Good old Charlie follows me around. He has no trouble falling asleep no matter where we end up. Is it normal to be jealous of a cat?

David Beckham embroidering. Insert all the heart eyes…

And this cracked me up. Raise your hands if you can relate.

  1. We received a couple of inches of the white stuff on Sunday. It was all gone by Monday, which is good. Seems like we have had rain or snow every day in April so far. But this week the weather man promises it will feel like Spring. After today 😉 I did see the photo of David Beckham on Facebook. I think it’s so sweet that he is stitching for his daughter. Gotta love a man that will do that. And I am sooooo jealous that a cat can go to sleep anywhere, anytime. I am up between 2 and 3 am every morning. I don’t get out of bed though. I keep thinking I will go back to sleep, but only toss and turn and doze here and there. I really should get up and stitch or do something productive. I guess I am too lazy 😛 I hope that you find sleep soon. Just because you can relate to the things about a raccoon, doesn’t mean you should copy his make-up trends, LOL

  2. Hope that you get that Spring weather this week! We’re so ready for it here!
Ugh… I feel you pain with the 2-3am wakeup. Sometimes I get up and do something but then I’m a mess the next day.

I love to hear from you!
